Trusted Signal was founded in March of 2007 as an information security consultancy. Clients have included small and medium businesses, higher ed. and Fortune 500 enterprises. As a consultancy, the focus is largely on web application security, including threat modeling, design and code review, manual penetration testing, incident response and forensics. Most customers have hired us for repeat engagements, a testament to the quality of our work and the relationships we build.
One of Trusted Signal's core values is the belief that we can only do well by doing good. That's why we contribute to the information security community, provide financial support to the Electronic Frontier Foundation and contribute code to the Free and Open Source software movements. We support the work of Lawrence Lessig and the Creative Commons and oppose innovation stifling software patents.
